The presentation was organized at the end of the THETIS program (which lasted for two months). This program involved fifty volunteers and hosted sixteen organizations and over two – hundred people.

The guest speakers were Mr. George Vlachos, from the Ministry of Development and the PASOK M.P. for Attica, Vasilis Oikonomos. Other speakers included, Pantelis Schias former General Secretary of New Generation and current Intendant for mainland Greece the deputy regional representative of Eastern Attica, Nikos Pappas, the Mayor of Marathon, Spyros Zaganis, Andrew Potamianos, Honorary President of the Special Olympics Greece and President of the International Club of the Greek Seas, Vasilis Kasimatis.Professor of Physical Education and a specialist in children care, Mrs. Koula Andreadi, former president of the Greek Orthodox Charity Organization London and George Stasinopoulos, a member of “Marathon Horizons” volunteer team.
Aspasia Kazana, a person with special needs, made a moving speech and thanked “Marathon Horizons” for the time she spent there, taking part in the THETIS program.The presentation was headed by Mrs. Katia Ioannidou, a member of Marathon Horizons and General Secretary of the Yacht Marine Club, Mykonos.
